Primary Care Wellbeing service is here to help you
Wellbeing Workers will focus on what matters to the individual to encourage and enable them to link in with existing support services (including online and telephone services) and develop tools to increase their ability to manage their own wellbeing. If you would like support with your mental health or wellbeing at this time and would like to access this service, you can self-refer via email or telephone.

Once your referral is received, a team member from the Oxfordshire Mind Primary Care service will attempt to contact you within 2 working days.

Sexual Health Clinic provides basic sexual health screening (tests), treatment, advice and contraception. Services offered include:

Achieve Healthy Weight loss
Achieve Healthy Weight Loss works with a range of partners to deliver from over 50 locations across Oxfordshire. This makes their range of FREE programmes easily accessible. In addition to their own “Lose Weight With” programme they provide FREE access to Slimming World, Weight Watchers and Man V Fat Football. There is also a range of invaluable resources on their website. If you have a muscle or joint pain, you will be assessed properly by a proffesional.

Same Day Advice?
MINOR AILMENTS SCHEME, is a scheme, available in parts of Oxfordshire, which offers patients access to NHS health advice and treatment from their local pharmacy. The scheme means you may not need to wait for an appointment to see your doctor. To use the service you must be registered as a patient at the Donnington Medical Partnership, The Leys Health Centre, Hedena Health, Temple Cowley Health Centre, Bartlemas Surgery, Hollow Way Medical Centre or Cowley Road Medical Practice. You must also be entitled to free prescriptions. All exemptions are valid; examples include age, income and medical exemptions.

Medication without prescription?
Over the Counter (OTC) medication includes paracetamol, ibuprofen, antihistamines or prodcuts for cold sore, colic, conjunctivitis, cough and cold, eczema, fungal infection, haemorrhoid, head lice & scabies, heartburn and indigestion, skin rash, sleep problems, threadworm, travel sickness and upset stomach. If you usually don't pay for your prescriptions, it will be for free. Please see more information here.
