Self-Referral

There is a range of NHS services on your doorstep for which you do not need a referral from a clinician. You can refer yourself. You can see the right person at the right time by contacting the services below. 

Medication without prescription?

Over the Counter (OTC) medication includes paracetamol, ibuprofen, antihistamines or prodcuts for cold sore, colic, conjunctivitis, cough and cold, eczema, fungal infection, haemorrhoid, head lice & scabies, heartburn and indigestion, skin rash, sleep problems, threadworm, travel sickness and upset stomach. If you usually don't pay for your prescriptions, it will be for free. Please see more information here.

The NHS have designed FREE courses to support you in developing skills, knowledge and confidence so that you can take responsibility for decisions about managing your diabetes.
