We are now booking appointments for flu jabs.   Eligible groups for a free flu jab are:

People over 65

People with a long term condition or those with reduced immunity

Pregnant women

Please phone the surgery for an appointment.  We are also running Saturday clinics.

From Tuesday 4th September 2018, GP and health care assistant appointments will be available at Hollow Way Medical Centre on Tuesday and Friday evenings.  Appointments can be booked through Reception.  The service will be staffed by GPs and HCAs employed by the 7 Day access service so you will not see your normal GP.

On 31st August 2018 Dr Goldman will be retiring from the surgery after 25 years a new partner Dr Helen Roskell will be joining us.

Repeat Prescriptions

These should be ordered using the right hand side of your prescription. Tick the boxes against the medication that you need and put a line through the medication that you do not need.

Completed requests should either be posted to the surgery, or left in the designated posting box near the reception desk.

You may also order online via the link at the top of this page. In order to request repeat prescriptions online you must have previously obtained the necessary access codes. Please ask at reception for details.

Please note: Please indicate on your request what destination you would like for your prescription e.g. collect from surgery, collect from named chemist, delivery by named chemist etc.

Electronic prescriptions

Most repeat prescriptions are now produced electronically and are sent directly to the chemist of your choice.  This means that you do not need to come to the surgery to collect your prescription but can go directly to your chemist to collect your medication.  Our receptionists may ask you which chemist you would like your prescription to be sent to.

Please allow 48 hours before collecting your prescription.  We are now able to send prescriptions electronically direct to your chosen pharmacy. Please see your pharmacy or ask at reception for more details.

If you would like us to post your prescription, please provide a stamped addressed envelope. We do not take telephone requests for repeat prescriptions as this may lead to potentially serious errors.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
